Manfrotto Distribution recognizes our responsibility towards corporate citizenship. We participate in and/or contribute to numerous activities which exist to benefit the environment, education, or other worthy causes. Among our recently supported projects are the following (there are more descriptions and links in the Review & Articles section of this website):

• Meltdown project – measurements being taken of 14 different glaciers receding (see more);
   
• Antarctic expedition – being undertaken by Sir Swan – promoting conservation and dangers of global warming;
   
• PWP – Professional Women’s Photography – promoting photography for city high school students and sponsoring awards – (prizes supplied by Manfrotto Distribution);
   
• Quest Foundation – saving rain forests in South America and Alaska;
   
• John Lennon tour bus – visits high schools and colleges to educate students about music, video and photography;
   
• Workshop Education – Rocky Mountain School of Photography, Santa Fe Workshop, Maine Media Workshop, New Mexico Field School, Eddie Adams workshop;
   
• PEIA (Photo Imaging Education Association) – Prize donation for annual student/teacher competition;
   
• Art Wolfe – World-wide travel to capture images of majestic glaciers, expansive deserts, teeming rainforests, remote mountain peaks, and exotic tribal gatherings right on location;
   
• Woods Hole Film Festival  Sponsor – Festival showcases work of independent filmmakers whose films are relevant to or enhance the quality of life on Cape Cod;
   
• Hawk Mountain Sanctuary – Support  for Raptor conservation;
   
• International Fund for Animal Welfare – Donation of Kata and Manfrotto equipment to J.C. Bouvier for video shoot.
